Santa a day until the fat man flies!

An experimental project for me growing out of work with the Human-AI Collaboration project with MIT Media Labs. The idea was to generate (relatively) high-end pieces in roughly an hour by incorporating AI art generators into my workflow. Crucially, I needed to feel ethically good about being able to deliver the pieces to a client as my own work. The workflow varied a bit but from piece to piece. I might create a physical sketch and feed it to AI before finishing it myself. Or I brainstormed with the AI and then painted by hand. I broke my time limit frequently, but that was typically a sign that I was on to something.

Sketches were done with pencil, ink, and oil pastel. AI was Midjourney and Disco Diffusion. Digital work was done Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and Corel Painter on the iPad with an apple pencil.
