Explaining the nearly unexplainable

Quantum Revolution is a course for Purdue University. It examines the current state of the field, quantum computing's anticipated impact on cybersecurity, and the importance of preparing for both its promises and its risks. As creative director, I worked on it from the very first meetings and my first step was simple: try and understand the material! Even at a basic level, quantum physics can feel very non-intuitive and you can't explain things unless you understand them thoroughly.

Next, I developed a design brief, although the material was complicated enough that I had to roll up my sleeves and do much of the work directly. I created explanatory infographics, banners, interactive visuals, and social media campaigns. I story boarded and helped create explanatory videos.

It was a fascinating project, but well suited to my strengths of explaining complex concepts. It became a standout course.
